Captain Vazzano and his crew will deliver your boat for local Chesapeake Bay or East Coast Race or Cruise destinations including Bermuda and the Caribbean. Recent deliveries include; Virgin Gorda, BVI and return, Annapolis/Newport, NYC to Annapolis and a return . Start and return deliveries for racing boats have been made to/from New England and Bermuda.

Annapolis/Newport Delivery June 8, 2012; Guest Crew Welcome Interested in an East Coast Delivery Cruise? ASE has room for two passengers leaving Oak Harbor Marina June 8 for Newport, RI. We'll sail out of the Bay and through the C&D Canal into the Deleware Bay. Down the Bay and through the Cape May Canal to the Atlantic Ocean and up the East Coast, past Montauk Pt, NY and Block Island, RI. OR we may sail into NY Harbor and up the East R (I'm always awed by the architecture and views from the East R) and through Long Island Sound up the CT coast to RI. Newport is a great nautical town and a fun place to visit you may decide to stay a few days at a local B&B or hotel and be sure to visit The Black Pearl. Experienced crew will be aboard so you may sit back and relax or participate in the sailing of Wodow Maker, a C&C 44 category 1 (ocean safety rated) yacht being brought up for the Newport/Bermuda Race. This racer/cruiser has all the ammenities of home; air cinditioning (at dock), 3-burner stove and oven, SiriusXM radio, 36" flat screen TV/DVD, GPS, paper/electronic charts and all safety needs. Instructional Delivery, An Instructional Delivery may the perfect solution to your delivery needs and learning curve. The owner and crew are able to participate in the delivery while receiving safety and sailing instruction enabling you to make future trips on your own.  Instruction can cover all aspects of the passage in a customized format to fit the needs of the owner and crew.

During a delivery from NYC to Annapolis crew member Leigh M captured this video of a squall moving through. The Beneteau 36.7 Whirlwind raced down the Northern coast of NJ at 8.5 knots beam reaching under reefed main in 25-30k winds from the west. "We were enjoying 15-20k easterlies when the wind died," the 100% jib was taken down and lashed. Within seconds a new front came through, the wind shifted 180 degrees and built to 30+ knots.

Racing in Annapolis area? The Yacht Clubs in Annapolis are host to many local and championship regattas. Annapolis YC and Eastport YC also sponsor the offshore races Annapolis to Newport in odd years and the Bermuda Ocean Race in even years. Consider hiring ASE to safely deliver your boat for an upcoming regatta start and follow up supervising necessary inspections and measurements for the absent boat owner or a return delivery including local races.
